Who knocked Nirvana off the stage in Sydney in 1992? The Beasts of Borubon is who! Dirty, grime, Australian, alternative, hard rock that is relentless!

See them open for Iggy and the Stooges this April, 2013 in Australia!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IR5DykkpnE See the Beasts tear a plastic bag from their arse!
I HATE BRAS!!!!

RATTLE YOUR GODDAMN HEAD
I never care for the stupid Metallica vs Megadeth debates over the years. I don’t think they sound anything alike. We all have our own opinions. I just ignore it and enjoy both bands, but not all of their records. Some are complete duds. So, here it is, my Mega-collection! Enjoy it as soon as you physically get the chance!

HEVY DEVY Aka Genius!
No record collection is complete unless you are fully stacked up on Devin Townsend records. The pride of my collection. If you have never heard of this amazing talent, do so as soon as you physically get the chance!!

Look at the lost bras! Bras of black! The TESTAMENT collection
This band survives! How good is Testament! Forget that ‘other’ testament, this is the only Testament you need to worry about bitches! Go grab the mighty new album ‘Dark Roots of the Earth’ as soon as you physically get the chance too!

SAMAEL - Samael is an important archangel in Talmudic and post-Talmudic lore, a figure who is accuser, seducer and destroyer, and has been regarded as both good and evil. It is said that he was the guardian angel of Esau and a patron of the Roman empire. Also, a great band from Suisse who rock your socks off, live!!
This band has so much energy on stage. See them live as soon as you physically get the cance. Enjoy this Jupiterian Vibe!

BARONESS - BARON VON MUNCHKIN & his BARONESS!
When my ship comes in, I’ll find a way to breathe again,
Breathe in deep, Let the sea fill your lungs, It’s better to brace for death
Than die for a promised land.

Let’s hope the band members of Baroness and crew make a speedy recovery from the bus accident in Bath, England, last month. Get well soon guys!!

You would be Unsane, not to like this tough nut outfit from New York! Check them out as soon as you physically get the chance! Oh and huge thanks to Decibel Magazine for the Unsane flexi-disc! That was totally awesome!

Circle of the Tyrants - Ooooggghhgghhhh!!!!
I wish Celtic Frost were still touring and making new music. Not many bands come along that are anything like these guys were. So many changes and no two albums are alike. Something in the alpine air perhaps!
One thing I regret the most is a dumb ex-friend of mine offered the 12” “I Won’t Dance” to me in the 90’s and I said “maybe” and found out, he was a born again christian, and burnt ALL of his metal records!! What a douche bag! I never saw that 12” again, anywhere since!

I never did buy “Cold Lake” on LP…I just couldn’t bare the thought of that one!!

Who Said the Devil Only Likes Metal? Might Be In the Jungle With the Blues!
My record collection is strange at times. I can play Thorns, or Enslaved then, move to Dead Can Dance, to music from Java and Syria, back to Hardcore from Brooklyn and then over to Redd Kross or Mudhoney, to Slayer and High on Fire. There’s no stopping me! It is one very unpredictable record collection and I feel like posting something off the beaten track here. CW Stoneking is that eccentric, whiskey throated jungle blues guy, who has a nice way of telling stories in his songs. Go listen at the link below as soon as you physically get the chance!

Alcest. Metal with soothing tenderness and a lovely polish. Enjoy!

RIP ALL BRAS…TO THE DEATH!!
Voivod are back with a release of their long lost demo sessions of 1984. Awesome. Thanks to Alternative Tentacles, and Jello Biafra insisting they give AT some music to release. Here we are with “To The Death ‘84” on LP. Excellent. Lucky for us!

What has the Fonz and Black Sabbath have to do with each other? They taught some of the band members English! Voivod busted out of some remote Morgoth Land place in northern Quebec and we are thankful, 30 years later they did that. Black thrash at it’s best. Check in with Voivod as soon as you physically get the chance. Merci. http://www.voivod.com/

Just Say Words - Paradise Lost vinyl collection (so far).
Just around the corner, the new Paradise Lost album ‘Tragic Idol’ will be out and I am eager to get my hands on that one as soon as I physically get the chance. The band are still going strong, OK, with a slight hic-cup during the ‘Host’ and ‘Believe in Nothing’ days.

They just toured Australia for the second time ever and it was excellent to see them again. Hope to see them in Europe this summer. You can always expect a great atmosphere on most PL releases. A dark bliss overcomes you and the density of their songs always reminds me they are one of a kind.
