Hey Ho, Let’s Go!
When I was a teenager, around 15 or so, I refused and/or never thought I would ever like any other styles of music, than metal. Until Motorhead came out with “R.A.M.O.N.E.S” on their “1916” album, and I thought, well, Ok, I’ll give Ramones a listen, and their song “Pet Cemetary” I fell in love with. So, overnight I became a Ramones fan.
I saw them live in 1994 @the Big Day Out and wish I saw many more shows. Sadly, we’ll never see a Ramones re-union or anything, as 3 of them are dead. But they left us amazing music and this 7” I found has some great suprises on there!!
Ever think you would hear Ramones doing a cover of Metallica’s “Jump in the Fire”? No, I didn’t either, but it’s on this rare 7” of only 300 copies ever made. So, I see about a million billion Metallica fanatics on tumblr every day and I figured hey, show them this 7” and see what they think!!!
