Rattlehead
Megadeth
Killing Is My Business..

                RATTLE YOUR GODDAMN HEAD

I never care for the stupid Metallica vs Megadeth debates over the years. I don’t think they sound anything alike. We all have our own opinions. I just ignore it and enjoy both bands, but not all of their records. Some are complete duds. So, here it is, my Mega-collection! Enjoy it as soon as you physically get the chance!

HEVY DEVY Aka Genius!

No record collection is complete unless you are fully stacked up on Devin Townsend records. The pride of my collection. If you have never heard of this amazing talent, do so as soon as you physically get the chance!!

Shining Kingdom
Samael
Passage

SAMAEL - Samael is an important archangel in Talmudic and post-Talmudic lore, a figure who is accuser, seducer and destroyer, and has been regarded as both good and evil. It is said that he was the guardian angel of Esau and a patron of the Roman empire. Also, a great band from Suisse who rock your socks off, live!!

This band has so much energy on stage. See them live as soon as you physically get the cance. Enjoy this Jupiterian Vibe!

March to the Sea
Baroness
Yellow [DISC 1]

BARONESS - BARON VON MUNCHKIN & his BARONESS!

When my ship comes in, I’ll find a way to breathe again,
Breathe in deep, Let the sea fill your lungs, It’s better to brace for death
Than die for a promised land.

Let’s hope the band members of Baroness and crew make a speedy recovery from the bus accident in Bath, England, last month. Get well soon guys!!

Hell Driver
Voivod
To The Death 1984

RIP ALL BRAS…TO THE DEATH!!

Voivod
are back with a release of their long lost demo sessions of 1984. Awesome. Thanks to Alternative Tentacles, and Jello Biafra insisting they give AT some music to release. Here we are with “To The Death ‘84” on LP. Excellent. Lucky for us!

What has the Fonz and Black Sabbath have to do with each other? They taught some of the band members English! Voivod busted out of some remote Morgoth Land place in northern Quebec and we are thankful, 30 years later they did that. Black thrash at it’s best. Check in with Voivod as soon as you physically get the chance. Merci. http://www.voivod.com/

Just Say Words - Paradise Lost vinyl collection (so far).

Just around the corner, the new Paradise Lost album ‘Tragic Idol’ will be out and I am eager to get my hands on that one as soon as I physically get the chance. The band are still going strong, OK, with a slight hic-cup during the ‘Host’ and ‘Believe in Nothing’ days.

They just toured Australia for the second time ever and it was excellent to see them again. Hope to see them in Europe this summer. You can always expect a great atmosphere on most PL releases. A dark bliss overcomes you and the density of their songs always reminds me they are one of a kind.

Pull the Plug @CassioLemos
Death
Leprosy

THERE IS NO HOPE…WHY DON’T YOU….PULL THE PLUG!

First time I ever heard of Death, was when I was 14yrs old. Leprosy was the album and it blew my mind. I was singing the lyrics at school for days and days. I could never grow tired of their music. Death was something else entirely. There has never been anyone like Chuck (RIP).

So now, remaining members of Death, at various times, are coming together and doing a tour across the USA this year. No Chuck, but his legacy lives on I guess! Get some Death as soon as you physically get the chance and remember…there is no hope, why don’t you…PULL THE BRA, THROW THEM ALL AWAY!!

The Lethargic Age
Coroner
Grin

CORONER - Grin album (released in 1992)

If there is one record I would do THAT, to get it, it would be the “Grin” album from Coroner. They are back and touring and I am super psyched to be seeing them live, for the first time, in January 2012 in the Caribbean Sea!

I hope this record gets a re-release, or maybe I’ll be super lucky and find a copy. A totally under rated album and criminally forgotten. Not my favourite Coroner record, but a great one nonetheless!!

For some utter masterpiece type magnificence in metal, try their “No More Colour” record as soon as you physically get the chance. Easily one of the best metal albums of the 1980s by far!!

The End is Near for Cathedral

Cathedral will call it quits in December this year with a final show in London and I wish more than anything to be there for that. I last saw them live back in 1997 in Sydney, one of the greatest shows ever, one of the greatest nights ever. There is no band anything at all like Cathedral.

Tonight I pay tribute and play some of their records, a bootleg or two and forgive me, even a CD!!! No!!! CD’s are the enemy!! Kidding!!

If you live in Brazil, Chile, Greece or wherever, get down to the doom groovin coven Cathedral show. Blasphemy! If you miss out. See them live as soon as you physically get the chance!!

My Enemy
Amorphis
The Beginning of Times

The new Amorphis album “The Beginning of Times” is here! I have been giving it a listen. Not bad, so far. I still prefer their album ‘Elegy’ more than any other thing they released. What a great record that one was. I play it every summer. The new one seems like the usual new-ish Amorphis stuff again. I prefer this singer now, than the older one. He was too miserable. I also prefer clean vocals!!

The biggest tragedy is for me, is that I still don’t own “Elegy” or “Tales From a Thousan Lakes” on vinyl. I hope to someday. Check out Amorphis as soon as you physically get the chance!!
